The hunt is over, but there are many unanswered questions after police in two states asked for the public’s help to locate twenty-nine-year-old Christine Hammond, who’d been missing since early Monday morning. Tonight, New York police report that she has been found alive and well in a hospital in the borough of Queens.

Last night, New York police tweeted about Hammond, Terri’s disappearance, asking for the public’s help to find her. Hammond, three, of Plymouth, Maine, was last seen on surveillance footage not yet released to the public a little after 2:00 a.m. Monday.

She got into an SUV with an unidentified man and two women outside a McDonald’s in Times Square. She hadn’t been heard from since. The latest photo released shows the five foot nine brown haired Christine at the McDonald’s about an hour and a half before wearing a blue shirt, shorts, flip flops and carrying an orange backpack. Christine’s desperate parents reported her missing on Tuesday after she failed to answer their texts. Her father, John, wrote that his daughter has always had contact with us.

She’s a wonderful, loving daughter and trusting Christine lived for a time in New York City but moved back to her parents home in Maine about five months ago. Police say she came to the Big Apple to visit a boyfriend. She was expected back in Maine this week. Jon Hamm Injury’s says the last time his daughter’s phone could be pinged was about 4:00 a.m. Monday morning and that she was still in the same area soon after the phone went dead. Father says she had little money or possessions and they were very concerned about her safety.

Police did not say why Christie never contacted her parents or if she even knew they were looking for her. Police also say that Christine had taken an Uber to the hostel after being out for a few days drinking with friends. No foul play is suspected.
